Welcome to Sure Step Protection. By placing an order through our online shop, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Products and Pricing

• Sure Step Protection supplies personal protective equipment (PPE), workwear, safety footwear, security equipment, farming machinery and related products.
• All product descriptions, sizes, specifications and prices are provided as accurately as possible.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed in your quotation or order confirmation will apply, subject to any applicable legal requirements.
• Unless otherwise stated, prices include VAT where applicable. Any VAT treatment will be indicated on the quotation or invoice.
• Product images are for illustration purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product.

2. Placing an Order

• Customers may place orders through our online shop.
• Orders are subject to product availability and confirmation by Sure Step Protection.
• Once an order has been received, a sales representative will contact the customer to confirm the order and provide a quotation where required.
• Certain products, including machinery and specialised equipment, may be sourced from suppliers after an order is placed.
• Products that are unavailable may be offered on a pre-order basis, subject to supplier availability and confirmation of the expected lead time.

3. Payment Terms

• Payment must be made according to the quotation or invoice provided by Sure Step Protection.
• Orders will only be processed once the required payment has been received and confirmed.
• Customers must use the correct banking details provided on their official quotation or invoice.
• Proof of payment may be requested.
• Sure Step Protection reserves the right to withhold processing or dispatch until payment has cleared.

4. Delivery and Collection

• Delivery is charged separately and is not included in the product price unless expressly stated.
• Delivery fees will be quoted separately and confirmed with the customer before the order is finalised.
• Delivery charges depend on the delivery address, parcel size, weight, product type and courier or transport provider.
• Customers are responsible for paying the applicable delivery fee.
• Customers may arrange their own collection or delivery, subject to prior agreement with Sure Step Protection.
• Delivery dates and estimated timeframes are provided as estimates and may be affected by supplier delays, courier services or circumstances beyond our control.
• Customers must provide accurate delivery details and ensure that someone is available to receive the order.
• Any additional charges arising from an incorrect address, failed delivery or re-delivery may be charged to the customer, where applicable and permitted by law.

5. Pre-Delivery Inspection for Machinery

• Machinery and equipment may undergo a pre-delivery inspection before being handed over or dispatched.
• The inspection is intended to check the machine’s condition and readiness for delivery.
• The customer will be contacted to arrange collection or delivery once the inspection has been completed.
• Any specific warranty, operating instructions or maintenance requirements supplied with the product must be followed.

6. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

• Customers must contact Sure Step Protection before returning any product.
• Products must be returned with proof of purchase and, where applicable, their original packaging and accessories.
• Returns, exchanges and refunds are subject to applicable South African consumer protection laws and the product’s specific conditions.
• Products that are damaged, defective, incorrect or not as described will be handled in accordance with the customer’s rights under applicable law.
• Specially ordered, customised, embroidered, printed or made-to-order products may be subject to additional return restrictions, where legally permitted.
• Delivery charges already incurred may not be refundable where the return is due to a customer’s change of mind, subject to applicable law.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Cancellations

• Customers should contact Sure Step Protection as soon as possible if they wish to cancel an order.
• Cancellation requests are subject to the order’s processing status and applicable consumer protection laws.
• If an order has already been placed with a supplier, cancellation may not be possible or may involve reasonable costs that are legally recoverable.
• Any cancellation fees will be communicated to the customer and applied only where permitted by law.

8. Product Availability and Supplier Delays

• Sure Step Protection may source products from third-party suppliers.
• Availability and lead times may change due to supplier stock levels or other circumstances.
• If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the customer will be informed and may be offered an alternative, a revised timeframe or a refund, as applicable.

9. Warranties and Product Use

• Products are subject to any manufacturer’s warranty or guarantee provided with them.
• Customers must use products according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety requirements.
• Sure Step Protection does not replace or restrict any warranty or consumer rights provided by South African law.

10. Customer Information

• Customers must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information when placing an order.
• Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
• Customer information will be used for order processing, quotations, communication, delivery arrangements and other lawful business purposes.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Sure Step Protection will take reasonable care to fulfil orders accurately and provide products as described.
• To the extent permitted by law, Sure Step Protection is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers, couriers or events beyond its reasonable control.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
